Athalie Range Park located in Miami, FL serves as outdoor leisure and recreation hub for its visitors. The park is open for general public and is actively used by community members.

​New community center will meet the needs of a wide spectrum of age groups. The building includes a multi-purpose room with 160 seating capacity, a fitness room, a computer lab and several homework rooms. The building is adjacent to a new plaza space with seating, oexterior lighting, and landscaping. The plaza is designed to enhance the experience of outdoor activities, such as community gatherings, evening movies, sports watching, performances and leisure.

 

Work involved multiple site visits, interviews, as well as documentation of existing conditions to evaluate concerns for safety, pedestrian and vehicle access. The master plan was presented to the community, and a questionnaire was conducted to better understand public opinion.
