MIAMI INTERNATIONAL CENTRAL TERMINAL
REDEVELOPMENT - PHASE 1

The Central Terminal Renovation Phase 1 project includes programming, planning, schematic design, and construction documents for a new 246,000-square-foot, four-story infill building between Concourses E and F at Miami International Airport. The project includes demolition of existing structures, utility rerouting, interior renovations, and the construction of new terminal infrastructure to support future international passenger processing.

Organized across four levels, the building provides a future international baggage claim shell space and critical infrastructure at Level 1, including electrical vaults, emergency power, generators, fire protection, mechanical, telecommunications, security, and support systems. Level 2 expands the TSA security checkpoint and introduces new concession corridors, shell spaces, and restrooms to improve passenger processing and amenities. Level 3 connects the sterile corridor system between Concourses E and F and includes shell space for a future CBP Federal Inspection Services facility with a vertical connection to Level 1. Level 4 accommodates concession storage, a future passenger lounge shell space, and additional mechanical rooms.
