Project Description

SOUTH FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT FIELD STATION 

This Field Station is one of several regional stations responsible for the operation and maintenance of the South Florida Water Management District’s (SFWMD) water management network. This station services areas within Miami-Dade County. The existing Field Station consists of multiple buildings, some of which have reached the end of their service life and can no longer meet the capacity needs of the SFWMD. 

The project consists of a new office center, maintenance/storage building, generator building, fuel island and related components. The office building includes private offices, open workspace, plan work areas, conference rooms, copy/work room, restrooms with showers, break room with exterior and interior eating areas. The maintenance building incorporates offices, maintenance bays and storage. the maintenance bays facilitate fleet maintenance and structural maintenance and include lifts, cranes and air compressors. Each bay has emergency eye wash and sinks. Fifty three new car, thirteen trailer and twenty truck spaces have been designed on the site.
