SPORTS CHARTER TERMINAL AND GSE MAINTENANCE FACILITY
Signature Flight Support is the world’s largest network of Fixed Base Operations (FBOs). The only FBO at Miami International Airport, they have two facilities, an Executive Terminal and a Sports Charter Terminal. The project is a replacement facility for the existing outdated Sports Charter Facility, which serves as the arrival and departure location for Miami home teams, as well as visiting sports teams. Additionally, the Terminal is used for other high profile clients who require complete privacy.
It consists of two new buildings; a Sports Charter Terminal Building and a Ground Service Equipment maintenance facility, as well as parking and exterior aircraft maintenance areas. The Sports Charter Terminal includes a Hold Room, Bistro, VIP Lounge, Security checkpoint, and restrooms. The GSE Facility has a two-vehicle garage, offices, kitchen, parts storage, shower and restroom.
